STEPHEN JAMESON

Stephen Jameson is an architect, and photographer living and working in Kingston, Jamaica.

Photography has always been an integral part of his practice as an architect, with the built environment forming much of the subject matter, recording work in progress or completed projects, references from travels, and everyday experiences. 

Training as an architect has contributed to his expertise as an architectural photographer to capture the essence of a building, its spatial qualities, form, and transient moments inside and out.

Since the inception of photography, architects have realized the medium's value and used it for documentation of the built environment, both for reference and the archiving and promotion of their completed projects.

Stephen provides photographic services to architects and the real estate industry for the documentation of completed works for their archives and publication.

His aim is to produce a true representation of the subject that captures the work's essence and communicates the architect or designer’s intent, seen through the eyes of the photographer.
